Koepfer takes over Getrag’s timing gear production in Ludwigsburg

The company Koepfer Zahnrad- und Getriebetechnik GmbH headquartered in Furtwangen took over the Getrag timing gear production in Ludwigsburg at 1st June, 2013. The sale is completed and the Ludwigsburg plant is now part of Koepfer Gear GmbH.

At its fifth biennial Drivetrain Forum, Getrag presents two new transmissions: the seven-speed dual clutch transmission Getrag Powershift 7DCT300 and based on this the Getrag Hybrid Drive 7HDT300. The transmissions complete the company’s product portfolio to provide total coverage in terms of torque output and application size.
