The Gothenburg site is just outside Gothenburg city centre. It is here that the GETRAG All Wheel Drive product development team sets pulses racing with their designs for power take off units and rear wheel drives.

Founded in January 2004, GETRAG FORD Transmissions Sweden AB represents one of GETRAG FORD Transmission’s two product development sites. The company has been based at the Volvo site outside Gothenburg since 2005, sharing premises with the GETRAG All Wheel Drive product development team.

The Gothenburg team has a real passion for product development, whether designing manual transmissions, automated transmissions or hybrid systems. The team works in close collaboration with the Cologne team and the Cologne and Halewood plants.
