Test centers

We subject individual components, whole transmissions and the complete drivetrain to realistic tests on highly automated test bays, in the vehicle and on the test track. These tests help to optimize all transmission functions and are used to verify functional integrity across the entire lifetime of the product.

We maintain extensive electric or combustion engine test bays, continuous gearshifting and rattle test stands, hydropulse test rigs and component test bays as well as material and acoustic laboratories.

Trialing in the vehicle is performed in cooling chambers, on starting-off hills and on test tracks with a comprehensive range of vehicle dynamics measuring equipment.

Precision virtual production development enables us to continuously improve our test procedures and shorten test periods significantly in order to streamline the entire product development process for the benefit of our customers.
