GETRAG (Jiangxi) Transmission Co. Ltd., a joint venture between GETRAG Corporate Group and Jiangling Motors Co. Ltd., began business operations on 1 January 2007. Taking in Jiangling Motors Company Group’s three former production sites, the new company develops and produces manual and automated manual transmissions and sets of components, primarily for the Chinese market.

Located in Jiangxi province, company headquarters, product development and core departments are based in Nanchang. While the three production sites are based in Nanchang, Ganzhou and Yudu.

To meet increasing customer demand and the needs of an expanding product portfolio, a brand new production site has been opend in Ganzhou at the beginning of 2008.
